A Short Overview on Star Trek

It was forty six years ago since Star Trek started its journey as TV series in 1966.

Its an American Science Fiction Entertainment Franchise(or ownership), created by Gene Roddenberry. Later it was named as Star Trek- The Original Series(TOS) and came as TV show in September 8, 1966.

Mr. Roddenberry inspired much from Wagon Train- which is an American Western series, Gulliver’s Travels- which is an Irish Nobel written by Jonathan Swift. And thus makes him succeed and popular to Star Trek. It has continued the journey with many Television Series and also with Films. Many of them was awarded. Most of the Star Trek stories ware based on the space-borne Humanitarian, adventure of humans, aliens who serve in Starfleet and peacekeeping armada of the United Federation of Planets.
