Install Wordpress by using Fantastico
Fantastico is an application/software of cPanel by which you can easily install Wordpress, phpBB, Joomla and so on.
Follow the bellow procedure to install Wordpress by using Fantastico.Step-1: At first login to your cPanel given by your Hosting provider. The cPanel URL is like cpanel.vinfospot.com ; means just add cpanel prefix front of your domain name. After that select Fantastico De Luxe listed into Software/Services group.
Step-3: Now Click in the New Installation. Just below the row you'll find the required space and your available space. And under Current Installation you'll find info if you've already installed wordpress.
Step-4: Now Fill up the form properly on the next screen. Select the Domain for which you want to install Worpress. Leave the directory field blank. If you want to specify the directory where Wordpress will be located, type the directory. And next on Admin access data enter the Administrator name first then enter the password. This username and password will need you to log on into the wordpress Admin panel/Dashboard. After that below fields are formal. Enter admin nickname if you wish. Enter Email address, Site name & Description(Which will be shown on header of your website). Finally check everything again and click on Install WordPress.
Step-5: Next window click on Finish Installation.
Step-6: Next window you'll find your wordpress installation information; Like Directory, username, password. If you want to have all this information into your email then enter your email and click on Send E-Mail.
Please don't lost your Username & Password. If you do, you'll be on trouble to login.
So thats it. The wordpress installation is complete.To confirm just go to your website now. . .
And to log on into the Wordpress Dashboard add /wp-admin.php right after your domain url. Then on the next window enter your username & password and hit login. And you'll find the dashboard. Where from you can manage your website, contents.
