Install ibus-Avro on Ubuntu 12.10

Hello everyone. What's going on? This post is over installation ibus-Avro on Ubuntu 12.10. You may wish to write benglai/bangla while using Ubuntu but don't know how to do it. So this post is for you.

Go to terminal from Dash Home(shortcut- windows key) or press CTRL + ALT + T. Now type the following commands in sequence or you can simply select command &
copy from here and paste it on terminal.

sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/sarimkhan/xUbuntu_12.10/ ./"

Now you may asked for admin password. Then type your admin password.

Type following Commands now.

wget -q http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/sarimkhan/xUbuntu_12.10/Release.key -O- | sudo apt-key add -

sudo apt-get update

Now it may takes a sometime to update the package.
No Type-

sudo apt-get install ibus-avro-quantal

After the installation is completed go to the Dash Home and run iBus.

Now do whatever you've seen in below images.






 
If you want to make iBus as your default input method, go to Dash Home and find "input method switcher". Select 'Use iBus' from the appeared list.

That's it.

Now press CTRL + Space to toggle between Bengali/Bangla & English.
