Requirements:For 32bit Windows 8, you need a 4GB USB drive(Pen Drive) and for 64bit Windows 8, you need a 8GB USB drive.
You need a software to boot Windows 8 on USB.
Click below to download the soft named WinUSB Maker- Download
Follow the below procedure to boot Win 8 on USB-
Step-1: Extract the zip file and click on the WinUSB maker v2.0.exe file. You'll find a window like the below image. Insert your USB drive(Pen Drive/Removable Drive) and select it from the device selection box on that window.
Step-2: Now select "Setup to USB" from the left side of that window. And select the option how you want to boot. If you want to boot Windows 8 from DVD then select "I want to work with a Directory" or If you don't have DVD of Windows 8, you can download the ISO Image file from Microsoft's website. Click here to download the ISO image file of Windows 8. And select the option "I want to work with an ISO image file".
Step-5: Now you may find a Warning message. Just click on Yes. The USB booting process will start and may take sometime. So wait for a while. . . .
After finishing the booting process WinUSB Maker will show you a message that your process is completed. Click on OK and close WinUSB Maker.
Congrats! You have done it! Now your USB Dive or Pen Drive is bootable with Window 8. ;)
Note: You can also boot Windows XP, Windows 7 as well on USB drive through WinUSB Maker. WinUSB Maker may not perform well on Windows XP. So i'll prefer you to use WIndows 7 for this booting process.
ThankYou! :-)
